hi.

herofall here, thanks for poking around my space.

hi, i’m han.i’m a ’90s kid—born in taipei, raised in america— i was shaped by sound before i even knew what a genre was. my family owned a music bookstore in taipei, and growing up, it felt like a playground. i’d wander between instruments, flip through theory books, and lose hours just listening. even then, i knew i wanted a life built around sound.when i moved to the u.s., i fell headfirst into the post-2000s pop-punk and emo era. myspace pages, mtv countdowns, skate videos, warped guitars, and emotional chaos—it all hit at once. artists like senses fail, i set my friends on fire, blink-182, dance gavin dance, escape the fate, my chemical romance, paramore, and panic! at the disco shaped how i felt music should feel.i started making music around age 13, back in 2008—learning guitar, messing around in audacity, stacking takes, and figuring things out the scrappy way. it wasn’t polished, but it was honest.in 2017, i went to my first electronic music festival, and everything clicked again—this time louder, heavier, and more expansive. that’s when i decided to fully dive into electronic music, bringing that early-2000s emo dna with me.since then, my sound has gone through what you might call an identity crisis. i love experimenting—jumping between genres, blending influences, breaking structures, rebuilding them. i’ve collected ideas and processes over the years, and i refuse to leave them behind just to “pick a lane.”if you follow my music, you’ll notice it isn’t perfectly consistent—and that’s intentional. it’s a reflection of everything that’s shaped me.so here we are in 2025.cheers to 17 years of chasing sound.
thanks for listening 🤍
